I had a significant role in the development and manufacturing of the first dual-chamber rate responsive pacemaker, the market release of the thinnest pacemaker lead in the world, the first single-lead dual-chamber pacemaker, the first stand-alone first-pass radionuclide angiography camera (FPRNA), the first dual-chamber single-lead ICD/BiV and the market introduction of the world’s only non-contact EP mapping system.I have also been involved as an advisor and/or investor in innovative cardiac wearable devices and healthcare IT technologies that personalize patient care and drive clinical efficiencies. A key to my career success has been the recognition and development of clinically meaningful technologies, but most importantly, the capability of actually delivering these technologies to the market.I firmly believe in a strong alliance between industry and the medical community to deliver innovations to patients that truly improve their lives while efficiently delivering these innovations to the healthcare system and driving down the overall cost of healthcare.
