Employed as practice manager for a successful planning practice in Somerset, I worked alongside Lee Wright in preparing planning applications and planning appeals and managing worrkflow of the practice. I was first point of contact for clients and built good working relationships with our clients and various planning officers at a number of local authorities.

Started as a YTS and progressed into a number of managerial positions within the council's Planning Dept, Landcharges and Customer Services.I was part of the very successful Planning Enquiries team and later went on to manage the department. I was also part of the team that setup and implemented the council's customer service department. I also worked closely with councillors and was part of a number of working parties and often attend council meetings
