Worked in all phases of web application development to develop, maintain and optimize modules of healthcare benefits application for US state project leading to development of robust application. Technologies Used: Java Spring framework, servlets, jsp, bootstrap, Restful API, Oracle Database.Worked on database design, creation and tuning of SQL queries, backup and recovery, upgrade and patching of database, code deployments.Developed scripts for automating and scheduling tasks in a Linux environment to improve database performance, reducing resources and time expenditures.

Developed a project on Intrusion Detection and Prevention System using Red Hat Linux, Suricata, Snort, Iptables, Wireshark. The system identifies any kind of malicious activity like unauthorized access to prohibited sites, applications, attempting attacks from inside or outside the network, trying to violate company’s policies, logs information about it and makes an attempt to stop/block and report it.Implemented stateful inspection of packets by writing signatures using Suricata.
