Reported directly to the Bar Counsel on policies and procedures, staffing and training, outreach programs, and measures aimed at uniformity and fairness in prosecutions and outcomes. Supervised a team of attorneys and other staff. Litigated disciplinary cases. Appointed Acting Bar Counsel in July of 2023.

Attorney responsible for investigating and prosecuting complaints of attorney misconduct, and for educating attorneys on the ethics rules. Duties included litigating complaints through trial and appeal before the Board of Bar Overseers and the Supreme Judicial Court.

Attorney specializing in the litigation of business disputes of substantial value. Practice encompassed complex commercial litigation, white collar defense and investigations, and intellectual property litigation, first as an associate attorney and then as a non-equity partner. Also represented clients on a pro bono basis before various government agencies and decision makers.

Served as a full-time Assistant District Attorney through Choate's prosecutor placement program. Responsible for the investigation, preparation and trial of criminal cases at Boston Municipal Court.
