• Collaborated with colleagues to provide robust and client-acclaimed front- and back-end applications• Worked in the Agile software development life cycle: defined requirements, created software design diagrams, coded necessary design changes, and created and executed unit and integration tests• Mentored interns and co-ops to acclimate to internal programs• Participated in site-wide Hack-a-thons • (2020) created a low-cost mask detection system (Covoidance) that beeps when an individual is not wearing a mask, is not wearing it correctly, or has a temperature. • Worked on a Laerdal Medical sponsored project to create a realistic simulation for a vitals signs monitor to be used in medical training scenarios• Created a PCB to act as a custom piHat and power various sensors (blood pressure cuff, pulse oximeter, touchscreen, thermometer) to mimic actual vitals• Coded a raspi0 in Python and used GTK+ to create the GUI displayed on the touchscreen• Used Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to allow an instructor to pre-program vitals values and have the corresponding values update on the developed vitals monitor
