•Providing technical and user admin support to BBC Users throughout the UK•Incident management - Liaising with resolver groups such as Microsoft, Telephony or Onsite Support keeping the user informed throughout the life cycle of an incident •Using Group Policy to centralise configuration•Troubleshooting user issues by using Remote Assistance, such as operating system and application issues.•Troubleshooting enterprise network connectivity issues. e.g. determining scope of issue, determining whether it’s a PC or a network connectivity issue, TCP/IP, hardware and cabling, proxies, default gateway, etc. •Troubleshooting enterprise names resolution issues. User Admin:As a member of the User Admin team my role includes a range of other tasks and responsibilities, with a certain degree of autonomy concerning any requests that come into the desk via the ‘Technology Service Centre’. The main applications used to complete a User Admin task include Active Directory, Exchange System Manager and Exchange Management Console as well as Exchange and Windows Powershell.Although a User Admin task can be anything that a user may require they typically involve: •Creation and permissioning of shared areas and security groups in an enterprise environment using Active Directory and JML Web Centre.•Managing all manner of requests relating to Exchange 2010 using EMC and ESM. Tasks such as the provisioning of Public Folders, D-Lists and mailboxes and managing the relevant accompanying settings and permissions.•Using SCCM to manage asset software deployment. •Making any changes to user accounts after creation and liaising with BBC Info Sec as appropriate.

•Support Users with all manner of technical issues and questions with Sage Payroll 50 and Instant Software. In all Windows environments, as well as supporting them with data integration from the Microsoft office packages.•In depth understanding of payroll legislation and processing
