Sanwariya Gas Limited is the first private sector City Gas Distribution company to get a license from the Government of India to Lay, Build, Operate and Expand the Natural Gas Network in Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) District. I worked here in different roles. I was the Accounts Manager, Company Secretary as the Chief Business Development Officer. All round exposure and experience is what I can explain my journey in SGL to be. The role of an accounts manager expected me to keep a track of all accounting entries from initiation till finalisation, complying with various tax laws, ensuring proper customer billing and their collections, keeping track of inflows and outflows and reporting the management on the unmatched cash flows etc. I also headed the compliance department by ensuring timely and accurate compliance with the Companies Act and other statutes applicable to the company. Further, the role of Chief Business Development Officer was of approaching prospective industrial and commercial clients, making strategies for their joining and retention and one to one meetings with them existing clients for ensuring best of customer services and addressing their greviences. While working in diverse roles in SGL, I decided that accounting and finance is the best career option for me as financial planning and execution is what interests me the most. Moreover, I was seeking an international exposure, to add invaluable value to my professional life.

Suvidha Infracon Private Limited is an EPC Contractor company which works as a contractor for City Gas Distribution Companies. My role is SIPL was an accounts administrator. I handled bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, preparation and implementation of budgets, compliance of various taxes applicable on the company, finalisation of books of accounts and of the financial statements and audit compliances. I moved to SGL from SIPL in July 2011.

BHEL is an integrated power plant equipment manufacturer and one of the largest engineering and manufacturing companies of its kind in India. I undertook my professional training for my degree, Company Secretary, in the Secretarial Department of BHEL. I learned the practical implementation of the Companies Act and various other compliances which companies in India needs to follow.
