As the Volunteer Logistics Executive for SWHAT, I manage the scheduling and coordination of over 60 SWHAT Walkers, ensuring nightly shift coverage. My responsibilities include addressing volunteer issues, enforcing disciplinary policies, and fulfilling duties of both SWHAT Walkers and Dispatchers.- Be a fun and compassionate member of our SWHAT community!- Schedule and coordinate shifts for 60+ SWHAT Walkers.- Manage and motivate volunteers, addressing issues and enforcing policies.- Exercise judgment in emergency situations.- Perform duties applicable to SWHAT Walkers and Dispatchers.

The Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT) is a dedicated volunteer service within the McMaster Students Union, providing evening/night companionship and transportation assistance seven days a week from 7pm to 1am. Run directly by students, we are dedicated to campus safety and promoting a welcoming environment for all students and community members.- Built rapport with clients through active listening and positive communication, fostering a sense of trust and confidence in the service provided.- Collaborated with fellow volunteers to cover shifts and provide support as a cohesive team, contributing to the overall success of SWHAT operations.- Engaged with the McMaster University community to promote awareness of SWHAT services and encourage utilization among students.- Collaborated with executives and fellow members to brainstorm and execute content ideas, demonstrating creativity and teamwork in the production of SWHAT’s instagram stories.

The Adults with Disabilities Assisted Physical Training (ADAPT) Program (formerly known as SNAP) is a one-on-one fitness program for individuals with disabilities at the Pulse.
