Tasks have included mastering new software and assisting Customer Service Advisors on how to use this. Other duties include testing PC’s, organising training, raising faults (Service Requests). I am also the Windows 7 Champion and the workload for this has included assisting the Deployment Planning Analyst with Floor Plans (for all ASC’s), collating Desktop and Laptop Asset Tags and user information and compiling lists of software used by certain teams to so that it can be checked for compatibility with Windows 7.

I was the joint founding Administrator of a newly created (Field Operations Support) which was tasked with supporting Service Managers with a wide variety of transactions including engineer progression, processing leavers, team changes etc. In this newly created team the role required a lot of organisation, prioritising and problem solving skills because all systems, processes, filing and record keeping had to be set up from scratch and used by other administrators and managers. I was very much involved with this and enjoyed the challenge making sure all systems that were set up were useable, logical, robust and efficient.

Duties involved handling calls for Homecare customers, promoting insurance products, resolving queries and complaints, meeting business targets and objectives for call handling / sales / quality etc, liaising with engineers and other departments such as Dyno, Customer Relations and Heating Upgrades, adapting to new practices to meet the requirements of the business and going the extra mile to provide an excellent customer service experience at all times. I also stood in for my Team Manager to look after the team on a number of occasions.

Duties involved handling sales calls for car insurance quotations and mid-term adjustments within a Manchester call centre.
