When grounded in community design, live streaming becomes more than just a broadcast—it offers people a chance to witness real moments of learning and connection that shape a collective experience. It draws the wider audience closer to these shared moments, creating a sense of belonging and connection to something bigger.At the University of Washington, I teach “Building Community Through Live Streaming,” a course I created that combines brand strategy, community design, and technical skills. The curriculum helps marketing and communications leaders grasp the unique ways live streaming can bring people together and build stronger connections within brand communities.My work has received an Emmy Award and multiple Telly Awards.
