Formerly a Research & Development Engineer with Vickers Ltd, South Marston Works Swindon working on closed loop servo control systems. Part time lecturer in mathematics at The College, Swindon lecturing to primarily engineering technicians with the RAF at Lyneham and Fairford. Latterly a retired senior professional and technological engineer with the Ministry of Defence Procurement Executive. Posts held are variously as a project manager responsible for the procurement from industry of sonar systems, heavyweight torpedo weapon systems and the management of associated underwater weapons trials. Now retired and engaged in voluntary work CAFOD and the National Coastwatch.
