The courses offer practical support and advice for those new to the role, those who are considering applying and existing Heads of Department on how to support colleagues and ensure progression for students.The course provides essential training and experience to those teachers wishing to make the first step into middle management within schools. Additional support is offered away from the course by way of e-mail, telephone and school visits with the intention of providing ongoing advice and guidance.
