Research into the genetic and molecular basis of the inherited bone marrow failure disorder - dyskeratosis congenita (DC). My PhD involved the use of RNAi to effect knockdown studies against genes mutated in DC while analysing the functional consequences on maintaining telomere length.

Prepared and carried out experiments to investigate molecular basis of B cell lymphoproliferative disorders, as directed by the principle investigator.

Part of a national BBSRC Investigating Gene Function initiative to generate EST libraries from various tissues and stages of wheat development.
