A unique background having started my career as an Electronics Technician working with NC Machine Tools, Robotics, and Medical Imaging. From there I progressed into Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Quality Management and ultimately to the North America Regional Quality Manager. This diverse background affords me the experience to work with and build teams and systems at any level. In my current role I am both Managing day to day Quality functions in my base facility as well as coordinating Quality teams and efforts in other facilities including ITW Fastex in Des Plaines IL, Juarez Mexico and Dongguan China (visited plant 29 times). With this position brings the opportunity for standardization in systems, taking the best systems and implementing them across all facilities to provide common platforms as well as avoid needless development time. In addition, I worked very closely with ITW Ark-Les in Dongguan China. Included with this role was responsibilities for all aspects of Quality including supplier quality, incoming inspection, quality management systems, outgoing product quality, customer concerns, internal/external audits, ISO/AS registration and more. I have lead key process indicator programs to drive improvements in cost of poor quality, first pass yield, PPM, customer corrective actions, 5S, layered process audits and supplier quality. Key participant in the APQP process including project tollgates. -
