McManis and Monsalve Associates employee (State Department Contractor) supporting the Department of State's Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC)Managed and monitored public outreach programs and implemented policies for the premier national security public-private partnership in the U.S. Government at U.S. embassies and consulates across Asia and the Pacific. Primary liaison for OSAC equities in Asia, including managing a 1,000+ community of private-sector security professionals and Diplomatic Security Service Special Agents with responsibilities and oversight for personnel and assets in the Indo-Pacific region.Coordinated, led, and advised industry-specific working groups, namely, civil air carriers and international development and humanitarian assistance NGOs working on sector-specific conferences, international and interagency fora, knowledge sharing products, policy papers, and other deliverables. Served as an OSAC liaison to the Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, and U.S. Agency for International Development’s security teams. Prepared speeches, remarks, and talking points for senior U.S. government officials, including at the Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, Ambassador, and Director levels.Provided analyses and briefings to senior-level private-sector security personnel as well as government officials on national security issues germane to the U.S. private sector abroad, including terrorism, global politics, crime, and cyber.Served as Acting Team Lead for the Programs, Partnerships, and Policy team; served as a training officer while on official overseas travel for new staff members.Staffed the U.S. government’s Joint Operations Center at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics as an analyst supporting the U.S. private sector by providing daily analytical products and on-demand consultations. Recipient of the 2019 OSAC Distinguished Achievement Award in service to the overseas American private sector.
