I partnered up with Ken Wilson the founder of Gators and Liquid Eyewear to establish Fast Metal LLC. Fast Metal is a USA sunglasses company. I have worked with Ken designing sunglasses and other eyewear components for both Gators and Liquid throughout the years. Ken asked me to join his team and help start Fast Metal. My responsibilities are designing sunglasses and manufacturing processes. Fast Metal is the most advanced name in eyewear. We’ve designed, built, and tested every product here in the USA. Responsible for the manufacturing engineering of new and existing products from concept designs, production development, quality procedures, all the way to packaging. Designing manufacturing processes for close tolerance forgings and final machining for the medical, aerospace, and industrial applications.Major duties include:• Design; products, forging dies and punches, jigs and fixtures • Product manufacturing development and procedures• Quality Control Procedures• Documentation; development and control of, Process Instruction, Data Collection Sheets• Programming and machining 3 to 5 axis CNC mills.
