With over 27 years of experience in the trade, in most recent years, I worked in close collaboration with Transport Canada for the elaboration and updating of all categories of Approved Company Maintenance Manuals.In June 2006, I established the 1st Canadian AMO with Transport Canada Approved SMS.I worked as a Team Leader for Air Canada`s ACTS Division. I also established the Maintenance Department at Jetsgo at the start-up of the company in June 2002, including the set-up of the Maintenance Control Center and the Toronto Main Base at Pearson Airport. I first occupied the position of Production Manager and was promoted to the Director of Line Maintenance & PRM in the last few months of the company`s operation. Prior thereto, I acted as Base Manager for Royal/Canada 3000 between 1996 and 2001, where I was responsible for the supervision of all maintenance activities in Montreal and AOG Team for their foreign destinations.I started my career as a Certified mechanic for Conifair Aviation in 1985 which would eventually become a Division of Royal Airlines. I gained experience in positions such as Supervisor, Inspector, Foreman for both line maintenance as well as A, B & C Check activities and has therefore gathered several aircraft type endorsements (M1 / M2 / MD83 / Airbus A321-320-319-310 / Boeing B767-757-737-727 / L1011 / Convair 580).
