SATCOM Program Manager/Deputy Chief, Capabilities Branch Jul 2017 – Jul 2022 US Air Forces in Europe-US Air Forces Africa Communications Directorate, Ramstein AB, Germany - Led an office of 22 senior telecommunications program and project managers in support of six programs, including SATCOM, Fixed HF, Land Mobile Radio, Nuclear C3, Deployable and Long Haul (terrestrial) Communications. Managed $13M budget, $7M contract and 35 defense contractors across Europe and Africa. The Branch won the Command’s Team of the Year Award for 2020- Managed 200+ personnel across 20 locations supporting 2 SATCOM Gateway/Teleport sites, 6 NC3 locations and 2 High Frequency Global Communications (HFGCS) stations and the networks that connect each site to the DoD Information Network (DoDIN), resulting in the successful C2 of all air assets and airborne munitions in Europe and Africa- Coordinated projects and programs w/Air Staff, 8 large military commands, NATO, DoD Agencies and key service providers to build robust theater communications capabilities to conduct defense operations for the US and its allies- Managed an IT supply depot and provided Tier 3 contract support to 5 locations, providing a resilient global communications infrastructure for the execution of European Command’s Operation Plan- Fielded dozens of SATCOM and radio systems, and oversaw hundreds of system upgrades, modifications and improvements. Outfitted communications units with support equipment, tools and other required gear at 6 main operating bases and 83 geographically separated units
