I have over 39 years experience in ICT, having worked on a wide variety of business applications including finance, manufacturing, direct marketing, mail order systems and local government/social housing.I have over 32 years Housing IT experience and have an almost unprecedented knowledge of a number of Housing Management systems, ‘Contractor’ systems and the ‘Enabling’ systems to which they integrate, such as Keyfax scripting, Kirona DRS (Optitime) scheduling, reporting tools, EDRMS systems, workflow, CRM and Asset Management systems.I am currently Product Manager at Northgate Public Services being responsible for the OHMS, Repairfinder and Interfinder products in terms of Product Management, Consultancy, Project Management and Pre Sales.I have previously provided Programme Management and Consultancy services to a Midlands based Housing Association who created a new In House Maintenance Team. I successfully managed all aspects of the programme, from its inception, covering a number of disparate workstreams and procurements, which resulted in the successful go live of the team on April 1st 2012 and the subsequent expansion into other contract areas.Before that I was the ‘IT Manager’ for a number of Directorates of Birmingham City Council (Including Housing), managing the Support and Development of over 300 applications (In House and Third Party) using ITIL/ISO2000 processes.I have extensive experience of the full software development life cycle from requirements definition through design, development, implementation, project and account management, and pre/post sales consultancy using a wide variety of technologies, databases and methodologies.I am a service and delivery focussed, hands on Senior Manager, have a flexible approach, am able to adapt to any situation and have a ‘Can do’ attitude.
