The Special Projects team provides both regional and national customers with a tailored solution for their protective and decorative coating requirements, resourced locally through one of our 16 branches whilst the personal involvement of either myself or a dedicated account/project manager is maintained throughout. Our expertise means we can provide an unrivalled service to the commercial, FM, retail, industrial, petrochem and utility sectors. Individual projects include retail and leisure refresh/rebrand redecoration projects up to £1M; many are considerably smaller yet receive the same care and attention. Our industrial expertise enables us to provide protective and specialist coating solutions to a wide spectrum of customers with recent projects completed in the petrochem and storage industries up to £250K and considerably larger projects undertaken in the gas utility sector.I was involved in the strategic development of the Special Projects team with customers from the utilities, commercial, retail and social housing sectors and was appointed the head of this department in 2007 when it became a standalone business within the Group.I joined Bagnalls, the national decorating and coatings contractor, in 2001 after 8 years with Perry Group PLC. Bringing knowledge and experience I focussed my attention on growing long-term sustainable business with customers across the UK.
