Magnet Harlequin is a brand packaging agency, helping deliver the brand's packaging to the market place accurately and on time.My role is within the core packaging team, working on anything from McDonald's to Premier Food, Hasbro to Tesco, so a real variation. Using my previously gained print knowledge to catch issues early, helping to deliver projects on time and to budget. Working within the core packaging team, I deal directly with clients & their teams, and internally through our own account managers. Reprographics is a strong point (surprisingly rare for a lot of artworkers) so full separation / image retouching are a daily requirement, to very specific, and varying print site needs.I work daily with online approval systems, some of which are set up and run by Magnet Harlequin, we also use Epson proofers using GMG software to proof to varying print standards.

Operating mostly in the Media Sector for several major film studios, producing packaging, I was part of a central reprographics team, responsible for supplying several European sites within a global print group all press ready files, including prepared artworks, stepped PDFs & CAD files for die making. Adhering to strict SLA's, site specific repro & production demands and customer specific brand guidelines. Heavily involved with the CAD design team, as well as Customer Services, always working closely to optimize project turnarounds, and bring in work ontime to meet production deadlines.

Operating predominantly in the Media sector, for comapnies such as Paramount, Universal & Fox.I started at PMG in Customer Services, moving to artworking & offering advice regarding artwork issues to internal depts to speed things up. Part of a small team responsible for upload & approval of artworks for a global Asset Management System

Producing standardised packaging artworks for global clients, whilst also carrying out complex repro & pre press duties. Great learning curve for myself, learning more about physical print, pre-press structure, special finishing, online proofing & system automation.
