I continue to preform my roles a Peer Advising Liaison but now I also work along side the Academic Advisors at NJIT to manage the team of Peer Advising Liaisons.In this role I am- Helping to manage the team of ten of fellow students while continuing many of my duties as a Peer Advising Liaison- Helped with the hiring and onboarding of newly hired peer advising liaisons over the summer- Created the office hours schedule for the Peer Advisor Liaisons and scheduled the monthly meeting -Worked closely with my supervisor to improve the timesheet used by the Peer Advisor Liaisons

In this role I helped to ease the transition from high school to college by:- Communicated advice for the transition to college to incoming first and transfer students - Addressed questions and concerns of incoming students had during their transition to NJIT- Coordinated events through Discord for incoming students to meet each other and make friends- Designed flyers advertising the Discord events using Adobe Illustrator

In this role I assisted the academic advisors in ways such as:-Addressed concerns of first year students by answering questions and suggesting next steps- Worked with a group of students on academic probation to improve their grades- Planed and coordinate tabling events as apart of outreach to the campus community - Instructed a group of first years on college success strategies in a first year seminar course- Designed posters and flyers for events held by our office
