Worked at the Department of Energy Nuclear Weapons Facility. I have been an armed security police officer for 7 years. I am responsible for the protection and security of nuclear weapons, nuclear explosive devices, special nuclear material, and other government property located at the facility. I have had extensive and in depth training dealing with defense strategies involving nuclear material and have experience operating a small-unit tactical team. As a Security Police Officer, I have had comprehensive safety training dealing with firearms, radiation safety, HAZMAT(Hazardous Materials), Behavior Based Safety, and first responder to fire & radiation incidents. Iam proficient and have participated in the development and implementation of various programs and procedures by providing process, system, and technical support to management, as well as performing research and analysis to determine accuracy of data and reports. I was responsible for ensuring data integrity and detecting process errors. I consulted appropriate internal and externalresources as required to assist in day -to-day operations and planning.

As a Communication's Platoon Sergeant, with 6 years of experience I became proficient in many areas including: communication equipment, slicing fiber, installing of cables to switchboards, pole climbing, and installation of aerial cables. I was accountable for top secret equipment, infantry tactics, weapons, writing combat orders, providing tactical technical guidance to squad members, and supporting supervisor's and squad members in the completion oftheir duties. I have also trained up to 60 personnel in my platoon in offensive and defensive tactics, squad movements and formations, calling close air support, military operations in urban terrain, inspections, self- defense, and physicalfitness. I have experience implementing combat/patrol orders, directing squads in offensive/defensive operations, directing actions upon contact, squad movement, operation of field communications equipment, as well as map reading and land navigation. As a recruiter I was responsible for screening and finding highly qualified applicants to join the United States Marine Corps. I understand how to apply commander's intent, and am comfortable making decisions based on a given situation to achieve a desirable outcome. During my eight and a half years in the Marine Corps I also received yearly training in nuclear, biological, and chemical operational decontamination and anti-terrorism training.
