Sr. Principal Business Analyst in the Business Intelligence Group at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica for five years. I have been responsible for managing, creating business and technical requirements, designs, solutions, and documentation, for business intelligence projects. The overall business solutions provided would be in the form of a framework, report, or dashboard, depending on the business expertise and need. I am considered the data warehouse subject matter expert for dashboards, frameworks, and ETL. Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica has given me the opportunity to work as an analytical and technical resource in conjunction with many different areas of the business, such as: Finance, Strategic Sourcing, R&D, Sales and Marketing, Operations, and Inventory Management.

Designed and Developed the plans for replacing our Asset Management application with BMC Remedy Asset Management. I designed, developed, tested, and implemented a new multi-platform data warehouse that supported the company's circuit and equipment assets. A year after the completion of the project, departmental maintenance contract savings was over 2.3 million dollars. As the sole developer on the project I received the recognition of excellence award in the 3rd qtr of 2008. I have been through DST provided Project Management training and successfully completed, as a Project Manager, the Network Drive Restructure project. This project involved redesigning our department filing structure to be more intuitive as we merged with another department. I was responsible for all application maintenance and development for the ENT department relating to, AWD (Automated Work Distributor), Lotus Notes dbs, a Visual Basic Project Log app, the Aperture for Asset Management app, an Intranet called DocuNet and the ENT Self-Service website. My application development duties included all requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, daily support, and troubleshooting. One of the founding members of the Rapid Application Development Group. As a senior member of the group, I was responsible for performing all aspects of the RAD Project Life Cycle from requirements to implementation. This included developing and maintaining database solutions for internal clients, evaluating and recommending new tools and software to enhance development efforts, and interviewing/recommending new candidates for hire. I was also responsible for mentoring team members in all aspects of development and client management. I created and set development standards and procedures, reviewed and approved development projects for production, and identified and reported RAD group needs to management.
