I have spent the last 6 years working for a SME IT Service Provider. I have been responsible for providing remote and onsite support at all levels for over 350+ Windows based servers and 3000+ workstations, laptops and mobile devices, project work including replacement Firewalls/VPN’s, roll out of cloud based backup and AV solutions. Having worked for a Microsoft Gold Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions Provider also means I have a strong working knowledge of Office 365, I have recently passed both Office 365 exams to become an MCSA: Office 365.In my spare time and weekend’s I’m the IT Manager for the family business responsible for all aspects of their IT. Being a small company, budget and costs are always a consideration that I manage well. I have recently performed a P2V server migration to a Hyper-V 2016 Replica, configured hybrid e-mail and migrated to Office 365. I have also installed a new firewall with policy based routing and failover to increase accessibility to cloud based services and also implemented advanced feature to better mitigate against ransomware attacks.Having left my previous employment in September with the intention to have a break, I have just starting looking for employment and I’m looking forward to the new IT challenges that lie ahead.
