(Fixed Term 6 Month Contract)In June 2012 I was contracted at Sportingbet, a large online betting company with over 250 employees in the centre of Sydney. Sportingbet had purchased a number of other online betting company’s around Sydney and wanted to relocate all the company’s into one site. My role for the first week was to deploy and test all new desktops and laptops, to ensure all software & hardware was functioning correctly before users came to the new site. Once staff had relocated to the new site my main role was to troubleshoot any hardware or software issues the users may encounter on a day to day basis, including ensuring their servers were running correctly without any problems.
