IAG's Investigation Team are responsible to investigate & mitigate potential insurance fraud & financial crime.

The EQC is a Crown entity whose key responsibilities are to provide insurance of residential property against loss or damaged caused by earthquake under the distribution of the Natural Disaster Fund.The CRT Team were responsible for investigating and assessing the accuracy of referred claims and managing investigations where fraud has been identified. Complex investigations included both private & commercial sectors and repairers.

The role involved the establishment & management of the New Zealand arm of the company to undertake corporate investigations and on-going due diligence.

Paragon is New Zealand’s largest Private Investigation agency. As a licenced Private Investigator roles included assisting commercial clients & insurers to reduce their exposure to risk and investigate and identify potential fraud.

This role involved working closely in a multi-agency capacity in often non controlled environments while undertaking lines of enquiry into ‘Trans National Crime’ involving both complex & sensitive drug investigations and proceeds of crime offending and identity fraud.In this role I have worked closely with the former Organised Financial Crime Agency of New Zealand (OFCANZ) and the NZ Police Financial Intelligence Unit.
