Richard Cesar Email and Phone Number
I am a highly opinionated polyglot programmer. I started programming in Borland C on a 386 IBM and never stopped, though my tool set and lexicon has vastly expanded. I tend to think big picture, turning complex business problems into less complex technology problems, and solving them using the most fitting design patterns that take into account the entire technology stack. My current obsessions include applied cryptography (particularly as it pertains to authentication, irrefutability, and the distributed architectures and tools which evolve from these concepts), machine learning, the development of REST based semantic API's, reactive programming (RX, Disruptor, Vertx), as well as SaaS/PaaS micro service architectures in general.A note to recruiters or those inquiring about my services, since I am regularly spammed with requests on this site. I am always open to new opportunities. However I have little interest in the conventional employment structure offered by most agencies. I am an inventor-engineer. I am a better fit as a partner than an employee. I love my well furnished home office and flexible hours, and I have no problem keeping busy and profitable. My preference is working with established technology companies or aggressive startups as an outside consultant on new build-outs, and am more flattered by significant equity than a fat pay check.
