About Richard Cobun

I have been honing my various crafts fo 40 years with widely varied yet entangled technologies which has made it possible for me to meld those skills into an advanced allied trades ability. I am able to design and build extremely high power density turbocharged internal combustion engines of small displacement, instrument them, and then design, construct, program, and install electronic engine management systems that control them. I have designed and built several 1 liter turbocharged cars with versatility to produce up to 226 horsepower yet achieve an average of 50 miles per gallon in operation on public roads while meeting all federal emissions standards.My professional endeavors have changed after 30 years in electronics and electrical systems. I began a second career in environmental investigation, management and regulation in 2007 and have moved to sewer collections systems and emergency response to incidents of public health and safety along with the environmental concerns. This new position makes me available 24/7 to serve the good citizens of Columbus, Ohio in a first reponder capacity.
