Prototype EngineerPlastic Omnium May 2015 - Oct 2015Measham- My role was responsible for the tailgate assembly of the L462 (2017 Discovery), including manually fitting components on to the SMC (Sheet Moulding Composite), and bonding the SMC to the PP Panel.- Collaborated with the Manufacturing Project Manager to streamline the assembly process for full production.- Worked with the Engineering Project Manager to conduct waterproof testing and ensure the hinge brackets are watertight. Also liaised with the Health and Safety Manager to assess potential risks during the assembly process.
