At ecoPortal I was a co-founder and company director. I also developed the original software platform, worked on the design of the software, managed and directed product development and indulged my passion and coded when I had the time.

Nextspace specialises in providing 3D software solutions for complex products and processes. As a business analyst I liaised with clients and sales to design and develop briefs, storyboards, workflows and documentation of software systems as well as building prototype solutions for clients.

KBS Sustainable Innovation Partners provide management support and staff development services in the area of innovation and environmental management. We assist you in developing your innovation capabilities and implementing sustainable manufacturing practices and competencies so that your company can remain competitive in a rapidly changing local and global market. I am currently developing competency and tool sets to expand KBS's expertise into the areas of design communication and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

I Undertook PhD research on collaboration in new product development using Nextspace as a case company. As an intern I liaised with customers to develop briefs, storyboards, workflows and documented software systems.

INNOVATIONZ is a New Zealand-based team of researchers, academic teachers and business professionals who have the aim of supporting local manufacturing SMEs improve their global competitiveness. Funded under the NZ government’s Growth and Innovation Pilot Initiative (GIPI) the team is based at the University of Auckland. My role is to implement the management tools developed within INNOVATIONZ into local organizations through embedded case study research, industry presentations and workshops.

Criterion Furniture was (during my time there) the largest Ready to Assemble (RTA) furniture manufacturer in Australasia designing and manufacturing close to 500,000 pieces of furniture a year. I was responsible for the management of implementing mass customisation, which involved managing and participating in projects on flexible manufacturing, gap analysis, increasing the number of paths to markets and the development of product configurators.
