Found the shop in a state of total disfunction. Rebuilt the place into a fully functional business in a matter of weeks. Owner is suffering Alzheimer’s and dementia, his family has decided to sell the business. Left on good terms.

Oh look, we rescued a business... Can we keep it?, I'll keep the bills paid and maintain the property, handle advertising and the website, manage the stylists and keep supplies stocked, as well as handled all Human Resources duties. Pleeeeeease? We sold the business to move to Louisiana.

Starting in the Marketing department, designed promotional materials and adverts for the paper itself, The Money-Clip and affiliated websites such as GoFridayNight.com and HomesInAbilene.com. Made training materials and forms for the Circulation Department. Monitored burglar alarms in the evenings while attending Austin Community College during the day.Contacted clients when alarms were activated and took appropriate actions, such as calling the police.

Managed the studio, handled client appointments and portrait sales. Photographed as many as 74 families,adults and children during the holiday seasons; between 15 and 30 during an average day. Receivedextensive marketing, managerial and customer service training that I still use today.

Managed client relations at the front desk and ran the black and white printing department. Brieflymanaged the entire business before returning to college to prepare for the digital age.
