After being purchased by Alps Electric of Japan in 2003, I directed the development of new strategic platforms with industry influencers such as Intel and Microsoft, positioning Alps and Cirque as leaders in high quality touch input products while directing software, firmware and ASIC developments. Marketed Cirque’s capability to deliver unique and high quality solutions (sold by Alps) to the world-wide PC industry. Prior to the acquisition of Cirque, I led Cirque’s product offerings by directing the development of new touch input capability into the mobile phone industry, developing new products for the OEM Kiosk touch input market and the retail input device market. Designed and Programmed a mathematical engine simulator model of the Rolls Royce engine used on the 747-400. This program was used as part of a full simulator package of the entire airplane and was sold to flight simulator manufactures for the use of training pilots.
