Develop ways to improve training, integrate space and sensitive mission operations into exercises.

Responsible for ensuring all crew members are proficient on a highly advanced, experimental hardware and software system and capable of deploying these effects to a geographically isolated operating location.

Executive Officer of a Stryker Headquarters Troop in an OCONUS RSTA Squadron, prepared for rapid, world-wide deployment. Plans, organizes, and directs logistical operations. Operates as liaison to the Forward Support Company. Supervises all commodity shops including communications, supply, and additional duties. Responsible for the training, safety, discipline, health, welfare, and morale of 112 Soldiers in the Commander's absence. Supervises all Troop maintenance activities, and accounts for the entirety of Troop property valued in excess of $56 million. Assists the Commander in operational planning and preparation, and advises on matters of material readiness. Responsible for operation of the Troop Command post, and serves as second in command.

Platoon Leader for a 12 member Mobile Gun System Platoon, consisting of three Mobile Gun System Stryker variants capable of deploying anywhere in the world within 96 hours. Responsible for the training and tactical employment of the platoon in unified land operations with a focus on operations in arctic conditions. Responsible for mastering new weapons and equipment to include digitized command and control systems. Responsible for the combat readiness, physical fitness, health, welfare, morale, conduct, and force protection of the platoon and the wellbeing of their families. Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of vehicles and organizations equipment valued in excess of $21 million.

These duties included serving as a firefighter or engine operator during prescribed burning and wildfire suppression activities; conducting regular maintenance and repairs on various equipment such as fire engines, tractors, mowers, chain saws, and hand tools; serving as a crew member during fire break preparation which involves rock removal, mowing, trimming, tree and brush removal.
