Mechanical Engineering Associate with Diploma in Mech & Struct Engineering & Design and 30 years engineering detail and layout design/drafting & project eng experience. This includes: - Mineral process plant layout and design - chutes, hoppers, tanks, launders, bag breakers, steel structures, platforms, cooling towers, piping, pipe racks/bridges & conveyor detailing - Sample preparation machine design including - Cutter spoon & discharge chute design & detailing - Mining wear product for both mobile and fixed plant including on-site measuring up- Ground engaging tool design & drafting including on-site prototype fitment trials- Machine design & detailing including entire project scope from concept to fabrication. - Tool/Die design & detailing, including liaising with the tool room in assisting with machining/ fabrication queries. - Jigs/Fixtures design & detailing including entire project scope from concept to fabrication - Automotive component/product and layout design/detailing. - Alluminium sports wheel design & specification detailing.Approximately three years+ in project engineering & coordinating (within my total 30 years design experience) covering: - - Machine, Jig, Fixture and Die Design - - Liaising and meeting with upper management and fellow employees/operators in connection with project scope & scope adjustments, budget and time frame aspirations - Liaising with in-house tool room for in-house manufacture/fabrication - Contractor/Supplier procurement if or when required - Plant and site upgrades and various safety compliance related upgrades.
