As director of the Centro de Estudios Hispánicos de Segovia (CEHS) since 2000, I have had the great pleasure of working with my American university colleagues interested in establishing programs of study at CEHS for their students. We at CEHS never cease to be amazed and re-energized by each new group of students that come to Segovia not only with the aim of improving, even perfecting their Spanish, but also to learn about Spanish culture, history, literature and art, and ultimately have what many of us know can be one of their most rewarding and meaningful life experiences. In addition to helping design, direct and manage the programs, I am also a CEHS professor. .
