Lead a team of technical experts to develop and execute Pfizer’s long term Environmental and Process Safety strategies, enabling regulatory compliant, safe and sustainable operations. • Develop, maintain and executes enterprise-wide environmental strategy.• Manage industry recognized Process Safety experts to develop, maintain and execute enterprise process safety strategy.• Develop enterprise processes to enhance environmental and process safety compliance by developing and maintaining governance frameworks; assessing facility program effectiveness and sharing lessons learned from adverse events; and, revises/creates programs to address highly complex issues;• Provide highly technical expertise, either directly or through team members to enable development of environmental and process safety risk reduction programs;• Lead Operational Risk Evaluations for environmental and process safety risks; and, build and implements mitigation strategies and drives identified actions to improve control robustness;• Establish effective processes to identify, evaluate, and address emerging environmental and process safety risks.• Establish, leads and participate in forums that support the organization in achieving robust compliance. • Maintain and manage talent base development processes and succession planning for subject matter experts across the network, in light of future needs.• Partner with Sustainability Leaders to maintain comprehensive enterprise program.• Represent Pfizer on industry, trade and regulatory interactions.

Responsible for working with manufacturing leadership to identify, prioritize and execute benchmarking and competitive intelligence studies in support of improving manufacturing divsion operational performance.  In this lead role, responsibilities included:o Conducting external and internal benchmarking to identify best-in-class practices, capabilities, and performance targets to drive operational focus and continuous improvement.o Developing a holistic scientific benchmarking approach with both external and internal focus, incorporating a wide range of comparisons across manufacturing operating units, across the pharma industry sector, and non-pharma industry sectors.o Working with the manufacturing operational unit leaders to establish the key performance focus areas of manufacturing's customerso Building world-class benchmarking capability to support achievement of the manufacturing division vision and mission and implementation of Network Performance Principles
