Represents defense contract workers, that perform heavy industrial equipment maintenance, and tactical vehicle maintenance, while employed on U.S. Government military installations, under the Service Contract Act. Currently, I work in collaboration with Human Resources, for twenty-two (22) defense contract companies, located at Ft Irwin National Training Center, Barstow Marine Corps Logistics Base and Twenty-Nine Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center. Together, we ensure safety in the workplace while providing high quality skilled services for the U.S. Government within the confines of our contracted scopes of work. As chief spokesperson I negotiate collective bargaining agreements (CBA), bridge agreements, accretion agreements, card check agreements, grievance settlements, unfair labor practice settlements with the National Labor Relations Board, and wage claims with the Department of Labor. Conducts incident investigations (disciplinary, safety, harassment, interactive process, etc.) and reviews contracted statements of work for full understanding of Company performance expectations, from the U.S. Government.

National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) certfied instruction of heavy equipment operation.As the Head Instructor at Associated Training Services, my duties included but weren’t limited to: Classroom lectures using visuals aides and tools. I taught advanced curriculum from the National Center for Construction Education Research, such as: Grade Checking, Differential Grading, Civil Blueprint Reading, Construction Math, and Excavation Math. I instructed safe and efficient hands-on heavy equipment operation at an outdoor training site. In the field I conducted safety briefings, instructed students on walk around inspections, lockout/tagout procedures and proper lubing to increase equipment life. I maintained all records for equipment maintenance, scheduled future maintenance with outside contractors, kept track of equipment rental agreements, created training schedules for each class, delegated curriculum schedules to my instructors, and conducted the weekly informational meetings with instructors.
