Senior Assistant to the CEO; responsible for project management, analysis, grant writing & administration, business development, fund raising, customer service, strategy, diligence, graphic design and requirements gathering. Over the course of eight years I managed several projects and several grants, including a Department of Energy grant that developed alternative fuel systems for electric vehicle drive, ethanol, and Hydrogen; drafted and taught a curriculum for a three year Department of Labor long-distance learning laboratory for tier one counties in eastern North Carolina; co-authored the North Carolina Aerospace Workforce Development Strategic Plan for the National Aerospace Development Center; developed curricula for the National Alternative Fuels Training Center under several contracts. The Program Manager position at AVRC also involved significant trade show management and attendance, averaging about a dozen shows per year.
