Oversees and manages the operations of the Commissioned Officers Association representing the almost 200 Senior Officers (Inspector, Superintendent and Chief Superintendent) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). As the Executive Director, I drive innovation and modernization of the business approaches. Responsible for developing clear policies and improve processes to create synergies and cross functionality.

As Administrator for the Windsor Police Association, my purpose is to advance the working conditions and professional reputation for the over 750 members, both civilian and sworn, of the Windsor Police Service. Directly accountable to the membership and the Executive Board of Directors, I am responsible for the efficient operation of the Windsor Police Association.Duties include contract negotiation; administration of Long Term Disability Program; representing members in matters related to Pay Equity, Human Resources issues, Grievances, CSPA Discipline, SIU, WSIB and OMERS; sit on various committees and promote the good work our members do on a daily basis.

Regulatory Compliance & Security Manager for a newly formed joint venture PharmHouse Inc. which has emerged poised to set the bar for commercial cannabis cultivation. This venture was formed through the partnership of two renowned and respected industry leaders in cannabis and vegetable cultivation. We utilize state-of-the-art greenhouse growing practices and industry leading levels of automation to pursue our mission of successful premium cannabis cultivation.Current holder of Security Clearance Status (S.C.H.) with Health Canada.Scope of Work includes:Study scientific and legal documents with the purpose of internal/external compliance with the Cannabis Act and associated regulations.Liaise and negotiate with regulatory authorities i.e. Health Canada.Obtain and maintain necessary approvals/licenses for operation.Establish and/or adjust systems in order to eliminate regulatory gaps.Establish and maintain all security protocols.Developing the Emergency Response Protocol/Operational Security Plan.Completing security related investigations and documentation, communicating with external security/law enforcement bodies as required.Ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of Pharmhouse operations.Management of the audit function within the organization.

Under the general direction of the Chief of Police, the Deputy Chief of Operational Support plans and directs the administrative services of the Windsor Police Service in accordance with the federal and provincial legislation; manages the day-to-day administration, including the provision of Human Resource Management, Computer Service, Finance, Training and Professional Development, Information Services, Fleet and Communications Equipment, Planning and Physical Resources and all other duties as required. In addition, the Deputy Chief of Operational Support represents the 600+ member strong Windsor Police Service in a variety of community forums.

Planned, organized, coordinated and ensured excellence in the delivery of complex and involved OPP services and efficient, cost-effective detachment operations policing the communities of Tecumseh, Lakeshore, Essex, Kingville, Leamington and Pelee Island (combined population of over 120,000 residents). Through a large staff of 220 personnel of both detachment and regional specialists, I led the detachment in accordance with OPP community policing goals and business objectives, diverse community needs and public order and safety interests.
