Individual components included High Powered Amplifiers (HPAs) of both Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) and Solid State (SS) varieties, Block Up-converters were either built into the HPA or rack mounted, Low Noise Block Down-converts (LNBs) often performed the functions of Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) and Block Down-converts, modems varied by purpose (Multi-frequency – Time Division Multiple Access [MF-TMDA], Frequency Division Multiple Access [FDMA], Network Centric Waveform [NCW], and Digital Video Broadcast [DVB]), and manufacturer. Training and field support was also provided on base band systems including SNAP, GBS-RS, Battalion Command Post Node (BnCPN) and Joint Network Node (JNN), NIPRNEt and SIPRNET. Individual components included Cisco routers, switches, voice systems such as Unified Call Manager and Call Manager Express, Inline Network Encryption (INE) devices (Tactical Local Area Network Encryption [TACLANE], and KG-250), CTM-100 and Fiber-to-IP media converters.

Performed WIN-T Validation testing, measurement and diagnostic on the STT Lot9+ and UHST Lot9+. Briefed operational status to WIN-T and unit personnel.
