I started in the industrial maintenance field in 1999 with Inoac Packaging Group where my responsibilities were troubleshooting and repair of injection blow molding machines as well as performing preventative maintenance and process changes to ensure quality of products. I perused a new career opportunity in 2014 with Akebono Brake Corporation as a maintenance technician. In my capacity as a maintenance technician my responsibilities were troubleshooting and repair of CNC machinery to minimize down time and ensure production stays on schedule. After 2 years as a maintenance technician I received a promotion to maintenance group leader. As maintenance group leader I was responsible for managing maintenance team to ensure tasks were being performed in a timely and efficient manner as well as assist and train maintenance technicians to help improve their skill levels. I was maintenance group leader for one year when I was promoted to production engineer. As production engineer I was responsible for process improvements, set up of new machines and models, assist maintenance with issues outside of their skill set and maintain quality of production. After 6 years as production engineer I received promotion to engineering supervisor. As supervisor I am responsible for managing my engineering team, organizing projects, communicating across all departments to ensure quality product is going to customers on time.
