Working in the creative laboratory at Chelsea College of Art whilst Director at RDA Architects

Reviewing books, products and writing a monthly column entitled 'The Internet Diaries'.

After travelling through Russia and China on the Trans-Siberian Railway, spending 6 months on the road Richard found himself in Hong Kong. Here he spent time coordinating 3D's for projects such as Standard Chartered Bank and producing standard details based on Exchange Square for use in the firm. After working here for a year Richard travelled by motorbike across Indonesia and Australia before returning to the UK.

Working mostly on schools and educational buildings, here Richard developed skills in 3D Design and computing. Here he carried out his first 3D mesh survey and constructed a 3D model for a school extension.
