I have over twenty years of experience working in manufacturing & operations, with more than ten years working in the medical device industry. With an extensive background in advanced manufacturing, precision machining, and operational excellence, I'm deeply passionate about refining processes, manual and automated, to continuously become more efficient. Doing so has ensured proven success in delivering a World Class custom prosthetic device with a 24 hour turn-around time while achieving 99% OTD as well as developing manufacturing processes for a novel medical device.Over the years, working alongside some fantastic individuals has helped me cultivate a constant drive for perfection, a never-ending inquisitiveness, and a thirst for perpetual education. This is evidenced by my continued pursuit of more knowledge, whether it be earning my Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Vanderbilt University, achieving my Six Sigma Black Belt certification, working through the Shingo Institute modules, learning different coding languages like Excel VBA, Python, Java & HTML/CSS through Udemy or CodeCademy, or completing the Harvard Business School CORe program. I am also a firm believer that education can come from anywhere, and I have learned over the years that the most significant wealth of information comes from all levels and facets of the organization.If you catch me outside of work, I am an adventure seeker, a lover of travel, and a self-proclaimed professional consumer of great food!
