Oceanographic water sampling system. Technology - GIT, Code Composer StdioDesigned and created software for a NASA contract to continuously measure, while at sea, water using 5 optical measurements. The system tested water for radiance, irradiance, absorbance, fluorescence, and attenuation. Each test involved turning on a pump, and a light source (LED, or Laser) to illuminate sea water flowing through proprietary chambers in order to take measurements using a digital spectrometer. The data was then sent to a host system using a CAN-BUS. The software was written for the Texas Instruments Digital Signal Processor TMS320F28335 using TI’s Code Composer Studio in C++.
