I entered the social sector in 2003 after spending much of my career working in engineering and technology, mainly in international business start ups, acquisition, business development and consultancy. After initially leading the set up and then working as CEO of a local YMCA I became involved in working with local, regional and central Government on VCS related policy and practice. In 2009, whilst working with Oasis UK, I led the set up the Abundant Assets Alliance UK (AAA UK) - this is a network of organisations committed to a comprehensive and systematic approach to positive developmental outcomes.
