My responsibilities at SAIC were varied across a 31 year career there. Early work was as a software engineer supporting various DoD/Government activities, with emphasis on Command and Control, Communications and Undersea Surveillance. Later work was within SAIC's management structure, initially as a task/project manager and ultimately as a Sector Manager overseeing the work of 3,500 software and system engineers at DOD and Non-DOD government activities across the US and also in Europe… Show more My responsibilities at SAIC were varied across a 31 year career there. Early work was as a software engineer supporting various DoD/Government activities, with emphasis on Command and Control, Communications and Undersea Surveillance. Later work was within SAIC's management structure, initially as a task/project manager and ultimately as a Sector Manager overseeing the work of 3,500 software and system engineers at DOD and Non-DOD government activities across the US and also in Europe. Revenue base for this later work was approximately $500M. Positions at SAIC included Group Senior Vice President in the 1990's and early 2000's, and Sector//Senior Vice President and Deputy Group President in the later years at SAIC (as Deputy Group President, I helped oversee the work of a $1.3B organization). Held many corporate oversight and policy setting roles also - spanning HR, Incentives, Retirement, and Corporate Process Improvement.
