Done by integrating a diverse team of employee’s to better understand process tolerances and bottlenecks.• Resurrected process certifying operators to correspond with DCMA policies for airfoil manufacturing.

Part of team that led 1400 employees to follow safety, quality, production standards for airfoil manufacturing. Built desired characteristics within employees to help them excel in their careers. Reviewed new hire skill levels. Worked with hourly employee committees to find best solutions for GE and the workforce in a non-union environment. • Formulated plan to cross train over 30 new hires to better meet needs of FDM business. This reduced delinquency in T700 program from 12,000pcs to 6,000pcs.• Certified as Code-20 better serving daily needs to allocate hardware for critical programs in FDM, CFX, ECM, LPT and P&R.• Escalated technical issues to proper maintenance and engineering resources, reducing downtime across several critical programs.

Maintained plant assets such as machinery in Molybdenum wire drawing, tungsten furnace machining, wire fabrication processes. Made continual improvements throughout the facility to reduce cost including utility projects such as air and water (di, cooling and hot water systems), waste water, natural gas, hydrogen, hydraulics, electrical and automation. • Minimized downtime by effectively communication between skilled labor and operators. Thoroughly defined improvement action plans to facilitate smoother shop floor operations through data collection, analysis, and process engineering skills. Evident in 37% increase in FTY through .235” draw pass.• Reduced OSHA recordable rate from 8.5 in 2014 to 2.5 in 2015. • Engaged team members in a union facility to work with management and create a learning environment that fosters teamwork. This was evident by an 87.7% ratification of the 2016 contract. Implemented process improvements for furnace rebuilds. • Worked with contractors on facility maintenance issues and projects. Part of team that developed processes to insource 30 new parts into the plant facility resulting in $250k in cost savings.

Temporary consultant through Noramtec. Analyzed data of GE’s remanufacturing process of locomotive components to reduce waste throughout the teardown line. Identified and created lean tools to help production supervisors have a visual reference of process bottlenecks, downtime root cause, and time on product metrics.

Utilized Minitab / Excel to find trends in defective LCD’s. Repaired and programmed laser engraver. Executed all machine set-up and teardown for product line changes.• Operated / analyzed machine and product data while using troubleshooting skills to run the roll to roll LCD machinery at an average machine efficiency of 92%.

Managed 3rd shift operations, safety and quality programs. Scheduled and covered all operations including maintenance teams to improve lamp making processes. Reconciled union grievances and employee performance issues. Collected data for daily production and P&E worksheet.
