Currently working as a Senior Biomedical Designer in the Trauma Engineering Group using Unigraphics NX5 software to design and develop Plates, Screws, and Medical Device Instruments.

Worked as a Mechanical Designer while using Unigraphics NX4 software to Design medical devices for hip joint and knee replacements. Modeling these Orthopaedic devices involved extensive use of Free-Form and Surface Modeling capabilities of Unigraphics NX4. In addition to developing complex models, other responsibilities include research of needed Vendor components and detailing Assembly Models or single Part Models.

Using Unigraphics NX4 software to design Turbine Units and Exhaust Cases mounted on base plates to capture exhaust gases from jet engines to power other units. Extensive UG modeling of high horse-power Power Turbine Installation retrofitting a newly developed Power Turbine to replace an existing Power Turbine of an out-dated design.This included modeling the existing structural Base Plate in its entirety with modifications needed to suit the new design Turbine, its Gas Generator driver (Jet Engine) and its Exhaust system .A concentrated effort in modeling and assisting in the development of a complete newly designed light boiler plate Exhaust Case with a matching flow path - Internal Diffuser and external temperature variation Supports, constituted the most of this work load.Part of the responsibilities include confirming manufacturing feasibilities, fits of parts and research of needed Vendor components. Later involvement included detailing of Parts, Sub-assemblies, Assemblies and confirmation of Bills-of-Materials.

Worked as a Mechanical Designer using Unigraphics NX2 software to generate complex assemblies of external component parts of jet engines. Responsible for designing and placing external engine components around jet engines and designing brackets to hold in place. Areas of experience in Unigraphics NX2 include: Gateway, Modeling, Drafting, and Assembly Applications.
