About Richard Faul

Life is about giving, contributing. The more you learn and grow the more you can give to others. I get a sense of fulfilment in making a difference to the success of businesses and projects, in helping individuals improve their lives financially and in being able to give back to the community through philanthropy. My current role in Systems Management has taken me full circle. As project controls manager previously, systems were seen as critical in enabling project teams to maximise their time so as to focus more on analysis and problem solving than manual reporting. Currently working through all the elements of successful implementation of systems on projects from project requirements, system selection, resource requirements, estimation, process development, integration, SME and vendor engagement, training, configuration and post implementation support.My last few roles in management included in depth analysis of existing business processes, business systems and implementations, commercial performance of projects and portfolio of projects, schedule performance and team management. I truly feel successful when bringing together all of those elements for greater project performance through team work and clear and cohesive communication. So many parts of the organisation coming together for a common goal. Finance department, engineering, project controls, project management, procurement, IT and systems specialists. In building strong and respectful relationships, success is always attainable.I ultimately love helping others, be it professionally or personally. To share my knowledge and experiences and see others grow, learn and benefit and the cycle continues.Professional Summary:Graduated with Information Systems Bachelor degree from Monash University, Melbourne.
